Donation Refund Policy
Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation is instituting a donation refund policy with a view to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation however, expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Also, Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation recognises that adonation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind after making adonation.
However, Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation is not obliged to make any refunds and may decline any or all requests at its discretion, particularly when the tax exemption certificate has already been issued.
In other cases, Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation considers each refund request on merits and examines their genuineness and endeavour to make the refund.
If you would like to request for refund from Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation, you must submit the request in writing or through email within 10 days from the date of making such donation furnishing full details of the donation i.e, the date of donation, Amount of donation, Mode of payment, Status of payment etc.
The refund process may take 15 to 30 working days depending upon the availability of all the information including information from third parties like Payment Gateway, Banks through which transaction is done. In case of insufficient information, the refund request may be summarily rejected.
All decisions of Apoorva Women and Child Welfare Organisation in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.
